CoronaVirus Update: Its Getting Serious!

CoronaVirus has transformed into a global epidemic and everybody needs to be careful with it. Reports of the virus slowing down are unfortunately not true and therefore it is even more important to update people and make sure that everyone is taking the necessary measures for its prevention. 


Singapore has deemed coronavirus as inevitable as it converts into an epidemic. The Country’s health Minister stated:

it is inevitable that at some point in time we will see fatalities from COVID-19 as we have seen all around the world. 


India’s close proximity to China has hit hard, as the death toll for coronavirus victim rises to 31. According to ANI,

Sanjeeva Kumar, Special Secretary (Health), Union Health Ministry: One more #COVID19 case in Delhi (resident of Uttam Nagar) has been confirmed, taking the total number of positive cases in the country to 31. The patient has a travel history from Thailand & Malaysia.


Bhutan has closed its door for visitors as it witnessed its first positive case for the virus. The patient was a  79-year old man who entered by air from India. 

The government will impose two weeks restriction on all incoming tourists with immediate effect,” the health ministry said in a statement.

“This is to enable rigorous monitoring, source assessment of infection and mitigate the situation


Surprise news from Wuhan, as country’s top panel has predicted that new cases would drop to zero by the end of the month, despite a high rise in the current number of patients:

He estimated other cities in Hubei will hit such a target by mid-March, based on data on how the outbreak has evolved, but did not give details


Trump has signed a $8.3 billion measure to counter the outbreak. This would provide hospital and vaccination centres necessary treatments to tackle the outbreak. The money would pay for a multifaceted attack on a virus that is spreading more widely every day, sending financial markets spiraling, disrupting travel and potentially threatening the US economy’s decade-long expansion.
