Pakistani Students design a bomb defusing robot

The nation of Pakistan is full of great potential and growth, especially the youth have proved it and got achievements in not only at regional level but also international platforms, no matter is it the ground of arts or science. The recent example is set by four engineering students from Narowal making Pakistan proud by inventing indigenous robot which is capable of defusing the bombs.

The students are claiming that the robot is not only capable of defusing the bomb but also competent to do inspection job as well.

If their declaration comes true then it will be of great favor to our securities agencies which are facing barriers, like land mines in FATA where operations are being carried out against militants. So with the help of this newly invented robot these land mines can be easily cleared.

The students who turn out this amazing project into reality are currently enrolled in the University of Engineering Science and Technology’s Narowal sub-campus.

4 students Arqam Imran, Mubashar Ashraf, Subhan Ahmad and Ahmad Khan from engineering university made this robot as a final year thesis project of them.

The limitation of distance is 150m, within this gap robot worked well. By using internet, the robot can be controlled and functioned from a distance of 150 meters. Furthermore, it can also run and function on bumpy surface with much ease. Equipped with different cameras it contains a trolley which is used to move explosive materials from one place to another.

To more amaze the robot is fire-proof, which indicates that it can work in intense hot places. Pointing out it can also help fire brigade in evacuating citizens from building in case of fire.

In addition, at the start of this year students from Peshawar designed a unique tiny car which can cover 180km in 1-liter fuel. These tremendous victories by young ones are evidence that the prospect of this nation is bright.
