Vivo V9 is the first Android smartphone in Pakistan with a notch design, that is somewhat very close to a truly bezel-less display. Let’s talk about the camera.  When you will experience the camera feature you will come to know that it’sa great selfie clicking device with 24-megapixel front camera owing an AI enhancer aperture of f/2.0 which boasts it up for betterment in clicking. The front camera in comparison to rear one did a great job. And the real surprise that it was able to capture much more details perfectly.

The rear camera in vivo V9 has 16 MP with the presence of 5 MP shooters along with the f/2.0 aperture. But sometimes a bit issues were seen as in lighted environment it left some dark areas and tones in the pictures along with some capturing details problems. In low light rear camera left a bit grainy structures with low noise but still not that bad that it is totally acceptable in this price.

Besides this, it also allows the access to different modes like professional, panorama and HDR etc. To spice up the experience there is AR stickers working kind of similar to Snapchat and AI enhancers present in both cameras with the ability to detect the gender and setting the beauty mode according to the face.

Furthermore, the software of the camera is way too simple to use and also has the capacity to capture the 4K videos but with the absence of OIS.

Fingerprint Sensor:

The presence of fingerprint sensor in the middle of the phone on the rear is easy to approach and the performance of the scanner is quite good.

On the right side, power buttons and volume controllers are present while on the left you can find dual sim and, micro SD card slots on the top of it.

Looking in the middle of the phone the micro USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack and loudspeakers are available on both sides. The speakers are quite loud and clear as you can also use them in the loud areas but at some points, I found my speakers a bit muffled when watching videos.

The battery available in vivo v9 is 3260mAh giving the 45 hours standby. This can be the improvement as compared to other versions as they carried 3000mAh like in vivo V7.

The AI feature learn about the usage pattern and allocates less battery to apps that are not frequently used.

Funtouch OS 4.0:

The software was the most exciting thing happened that is Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch of 4.0 OS and closely resembling iOS.

The company claims to provide regular security updates and major Android release for this phone.

Smart features:

They have also introduced the face recognition feature that sometimes stops working and you have to unlock the gadget via applying the password. The Game mode and gaming keyboard in small size provide a good experience without any disruption during playing do work effectively.

The available memory is fair enough for such device or not?

Internal memory is 64 GB and the RAM is 4 GB besides this, the extendable memory is 256 GB and this is far enough in such amount of money.

Yes, but during multitasking at a time and the installments of heavy games, it did slow for a time but still beside running by the high-end chip of Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 it works smoothly.

But still, there are some improvements they should do to their software and body of the mobile phone as it catches up scratches and marks easily if not protected by the covers. The battery life needs to be extended and the rear camera needs more improvement especially in the saturation and contrast options.

Is there any competition going on with other phones?

So yes, they tried to compete with the iPhone series but in comparison with other android mobiles in this range, Vivo V9 series are way too better and preferable than others.

According to us, everyone belonging to any profession including teenagers and people playing normal but not heavy games can make a purchase as it introduced a better battery time and it is worth spending money for such features.
