6 awaited features to come in Samsung Galaxy S7

Samsung has finalized its most awaited Nougat Beta program of android. The official version of this android device will be released in January 2017. The program was initialized in November and involvement of consumer can be rectified by downloading the Galaxy Beta app from the app store of Galaxy.

Various updates for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge from November to December were being brought out by Samsung. Now official update about these marvelous devices is ready, the brand has presented out the associated paperwork in the form of user manuals.

According to the information accessed from the manuals, here are six awaited and most anticipated features of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Nougat update:

  1. New TouchWiz UI: The manuals hint at what the new TouchWiz will look like — instead of the green color that was dominant in the previous Android version, the interface is a mix of blue and white. The new TouchWiz appears to be inspired from Stock Android as it has flat icons and a flat notification interface. It seems that Samsung has opted for the Stock Android notification interface instead of going for its own UI to avoid a cluttered look.
  1. NewCamera App:  The camera app also has been revamped. Samsung’s current camera app seems a little cluttered and difficult to access. In comparison, the new app is more polished with simple, easy-to-access icons. It can now lock focus at one point in the image and then adjust the focus of a different part of the same image. It lets a user play more with the image as the exposure area will be different from the focused area.
  1. New Lock Screen: It seems that Samsung has imported the new S7 lock screen from the now defunct Note 7. The new lock screen will not only have notifications, but it will also let users access some apps without going into the main menu.
  1. Blue Light Filter: The upcoming update will add a Google Pixel-style blue light filter to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. This feature lessens the strain on your eyes by limiting the amount of blue light emitted by the display. The option will be included in the Settings menu under the display and home screen option.
  1. Expanded Multi-window: The multi-window functionality will be extended to multiple apps instead of the selective apps available in the current software version.
  1. New Battery Modes: Samsung will offer new battery modes to consumers with the Android Nougat update. Users will be able to choose from four modes — Normal, Game Mode, Entertainment Mode and High Performance.
