BISP launches training for women empowerment, child protection, education

BISP launches training for women empowerment, child protection, education. On Monday 29th of Jan. Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program, Marvi Memon said BISP had successfully launched training for women empowerment and child protection as well as education.

While talking to a private news channel, Marvi Memon said that about 5.6 million women have gained benefit from Benazir Income Support Program abbreviated as  ” BISP ” with stipend and training. She also said that 1.9 million children had been enrolled through educational program.

BISP with 423 offices in different districts has a budget line of $1.15 billion. The employee’s working under this programme are 2,381 while it has launched 5.4 million beneficiary committees. Children enrollment that is associated with Benazir Income Support Program has reached to 1,754,119.

Benazir Income Support Program had previously arranged training for the women and child protection, besides the launch of a campaign for controlling malnutrition in urban and rural areas, according to Marvi Memon the Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program.

She also said that Benazir Income Support Program beneficiary committees can be used for imparting the training, which are sixty thousand in thirty two districts of the country.

The first training of Benazir Income Support Program was organized on last Saturday. This training was regarding child protection, according to Marvi Memon as she was talking about the training that was given in local languages.

She also made us aware with the fact that the parliamentarians had also previously participated in the very first training that was organized by BISP for the child protection.

The Benazir Income Support Program was helping a large number of women in Pakistan. Also Benazir Income Support Program was helping a large number of  poor children living in different parts of the country, as per the statement of Marvi Memon.
