Facebook launch a Dating Service app which will rival Tinder

Now in a new development it has been found that Facebook have launched its very own dating service which will reportedly rival Tinder for subscribers. It seemed like the natural course of action for the social media giant, considering its massive user following and of course reputation.

Furthermore the social media platform has been dubbed as“Facebook Dating” and as per information provided to us, the application will pair you with people who you have similar interests and preferences with which is very similar to how it finds potential friends for you on the classic Facebook Platform. The service is currently limited to the mobile app only but given how the social media world has been connected on a mobile phone in recent times it shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Moreover,users can sign-up by creating a dedicated profile which is very different from their existing Facebook profiles. You need to make sure that you have the latest version of the Facebook app installed on your phone and in addition to that, you need to be at least 18 years old to be eligible to sign up on the said platform. Unless you allow it to, Facebook Dating will not recommend any friends from your main Facebook account as potential dating partners. Furthermore, any activity on Facebook Dating will not be shared on your main Facebook profile.Moreover,it is believed that by the end of this year, Facebook Dating will let users connect and share their posts and stories from their Instagram and Facebook profiles as well to give users the ease of setting up profiles.

Now the, Facebook Dating will not recommend friends from existing Facebook profiles (unless allowed), if a user secretly likes someone from their existing friends’ list, they can add them to their Secret Crush List on Facebook Dating which is not that bad of a feature honestly, for all those love birds crushing on there friends on Facebook(wink, wink).Moreover, once you add them on your secret crush folder, this will immediately send a notification to the person that someone has added you to their Secret Crush List. If the other person also adds them to their own list, the app will match them and the love story/heartbreak story begins.

Facebook Dating will come with a few safety features as well to avoid any untoward incident. It will let you report someone for harassment or block someone altogether.Facebook Dating is currently available in the US and 19 other countries around the world. The dating platform will be launched in Europe next year.
