Fawad Chaudhry and Khawaja Asif confronted each other on national assembly floor over the matter of alleged ‘videos’ of Fawad Chaudhary. Fawad Chaudhary, the Federal Minister for Science and Technology brought up the matter in national assembly on Monday, he bashed anchorperson for his remarks also, for his statement about possessing Fawad Chaudhary and Zartaj Gul alleged ‘videos’.
Khawaja Asif, the PML-N leader later took a jibe at Federal Minister in his speech. In his address, Khawaja Asif said, “You reap what you sow … they [PTI leaders] make hue and cry when someone disrespects them but nobody pays any heed when the same treatment is meted out to us.”
In his reply, Fawad Chaudhary reacted and said, “How can those who assassinated character of [former PM] Benazir Bhutto, preach ethics to others,”.
Minister for Climate Change, Zartaj Gul Wazir also brought the matter to the floor and said that media is involved in her character assassination moreover, questions what she dresses, also what kind of purse she is holding. She mentioned her struggles that brought her to this floor, also reminded that characters of all sisters and mothers are equally sacred.

The whole saga started two days ago, when TV anchor Mubashir Lucman brought a rather unknown analyst and humiliated Fawad Chaudhary and Zartaj Gul Wazir – without naming her – and claimed to have the videos of both in possession. The indecent personal remarks irked Fawad Chaudhary, when he enquired about the videos from Mubashir at a wedding reception, TV anchor smiled and refused to produce the videos. The matter escalated and Fawad Chaudhary slapped tv anchor in ceremony.
In his speech Fawad Chaudhary said, “And when we demanded to present the videos, he said there is no such video … these people do such things for ratings,”
Mubashir Lucman, later filed an FIR against Fawad Chaudhary for assaulting him physically.
