Forbes lists Pakistan in its ’10 Best Under-the-Radar Trips for 2020’

Forbes, the world’s leading magazine listed Pakistan among ’10 Best Under-the-Radar Trips for 2020’ list. The feature that was published on Forbes blog, was authored by Ann Abel, included Pakistan in the list and termed Pakistan “as the next big destination”. 

The feature, which is titled ‘The Not Hot List’ shortlisted 20 countries in Under-the-Radar list. The magazine termed improvement in “infrastructure” along with “trekking, mountain biking” and “cultural sites” making it a hot country to visit. The feature also mentions “Lahore with its forts, mosques and palaces”, but pointed out the breathtaking beauty of “north where the three greatest mountain ranges collide”.

The royal visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Prince William is hugely influencing the world perception about Pakistan. The royal visit marked the “seal of approval”, which also “anticipate the destination will continue to be one to watch”.

Founder of Wild Frontier Jonny Bealby said, “Pakistan is perhaps the ultimate adventure travel destination,”

“It offers ancient Indus civilizations stretching back 4,000 years, and exciting cities like Lahore with its forts, mosques and palaces. But most of all, it offers incredible scenery, particularly in the north where the three greatest mountain ranges collide. Pakistan is great for trekking, mountain biking, rafting or just cultural tourism. The infrastructure has also improved, with resurfaced roads and new tunnels cutting down travel time, new luxury hotels are opening up in the region.” Jonny Bealby added further.

Earlier, in December last year, Conde Nast, the world’s most renowned travel magazine named Pakistan as its number one travel destination for 2020.

British Backpacker Society also ranked Pakistan on top in 2018 of their list of travel destination.
