While conducting results, the company made equal usage of features of the devices that consume battery power. Phone Arena reeports that these tests are performed attentively, as the report states,

“We make sure that its (devices’) screen is set at the same brightness level and to ensure this we measure brightness level down to the nit with a special colorimeter, we also turn off external notifications and other sources of power drain that might skew the results of our test. For some phones, we double-test if we have doubts about the results.”

According to results of report, average battery life of smartphones in 2017 is 8 hours and 44 minutes. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active and the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, are the just two flagships with a keep count of more than 10 hours.

Some other flagships devices including OnePlus 5, Xiaomi Mi 6 and Moto Z2 Play, could also be considered in the top 6 because they also have been considered at an excellent point in terms of their battery life.
