No headphone jack in the Samsung Galaxy W2019!

The Samsung W series is probably going to be Samsung’s most quirkiest Smartphone range which is set to offer consumers amazing designs and a an affordable price range. It now appears that some of the pictures of the new Samsung Galaxy W2019 has been leaked on the Internet by a Weibo user (h/t GizChina) and show an elegant clamshell design of the phone.

Now one of the main things a person may notice is that the new phone does not have a headphone jack at the top or the bottom and well the top hosts a clamshell hinge which is understandable but so far we only see type C port and a speaker grille at the bottom of one of Samsung’s latest creations. Samsung so far was one of the biggest admirers of the headphone jack and so excluding the 3.5mm hole would be seen as significant change for the company. This may also indicate their plans regarding their flagship series which are to be released in 2019.

This new comes after exactly one month since Bloomberg supposedly claimed that Galaxy S10 test model will not be packing a headphone jack but this certainly does not mean that a final decision has been made regarding the phone’s headphone jack. Other than that there isn’t much revealed about the new phone Samsung W2019. The screen looks pretty much like its predecessors and it packs a dual camera arrangement on the back but no rear-mounted finger print scanner so this may very well mean that there will be an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Finally as per the images shown, there is still no record of what’s inside and the UI which would at least give the users something to wait for. Usually Samsung reveals features of the W series phones about few months before the initial launch so it’s quite possible that we may not have to wait that long after all but here’s the bummer you cannot buy the phone outside of China because the series is a regional exclusive so yeah that is a bummer but we can always import it right? How the phone aligns in terms of features will be decided in the next few months till then sit back and enjoy the Technological century.
