On the other hand, now with the help of Huawei AppGallery you can download some system functionality applications and apps for your DeX dock and Gear watches as well. However, Huawei’s app store also works like Google Play Store

There is no doubt that most of the mobile apps it contains are targeted at Asian users, particularly from Huawei’s home country China. Moreover, it also contains regular applications such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, Snapchat etc. that you can also download from Google Play Store.

According to the report of a market analytics company Counterpoint Research; Huawei shipped the biggest number of mobile devices last year in China and grabbed 19-percent of the market share in just the fourth quarter of 2017.

On the other side, the company claims its digital market is designed for providing the best of Android to consumers by offering an ecosystem full of high-quality apps. The users would be able to remove the Huawei app entirely from their devices. However, the action won’t uninstall the apps already downloaded from the Huawei store and installed on a Huawei device.

This is good for those users who own a Huawei device; they can download the app store from Huawei, if it supports their region. However, the upcoming P20 series of phones will come with AppGallery already installed.
