Huawei P40 Lite looks to be just a rebranded nova 6 SE

In different markets, Huawei has made its name by introducing similar mobile phones with different names. And now, the best example of this comes in the form of the Huawei P40 Lite – which happens to be quite a similar device to one which Huawei has already launched previously.

A leakster, who goes by the particulars of @RODENT950 has posted a tweet very recently in which it was revealed by the tweeter that the Nova 6 SE that happened to have been launched just a week ago is actually the very same device as the Huawei P40 Lite.

There also was included a press render of the device itself which went on to show off the color black. Indeed this is one of the color variants that the Nova 6 SE was itself available in.

While it is perhaps a given that Huawei will announce the device in other colors as well – we can only hope for now that the upcoming device’s colorways are different from that of the Nova 6 SE.

Talking a bit more about the Nova 6 SE itself though, the device features with a 6.4-inch FHD + LCD display that also comes with a punch-hole placed on the top left corner of the screen. The device happens to be powered by the Kirin 810 processor – this arriving with eight gigs of RAM along with 128 gigs of internal storage.

As far as the camera sensors are concerned – the primary rear camera happens to be a 48MP sensor, with it being paired with an 8MP ultra wide angle camera, a 2M macro camera and finally, a 2MP depth sensor. Inside the hole is placed a 16MP sensor. On the battery front, the phone packs a 4200mAh battery which comes with the support for 40W fast charging. The phone features with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as an audio jack.
