Latest iPhone X iOS 11.1.2 to overcome the cold weather input bug for iPhone X users

Latest iPhone X users were facing an issue where its screen stopped responding in cold weather conditions. Did it made you laugh? Well, I know it sounds unbelievable for a $1000 phone but yes! It is true.

Some days ago, iPhone users reported that the screen does not act in response at all when they take their phones outside their homes in cold weather.

Apple recognized the issue instantly and realized that it is a software issue and will shortly release an update which will tackle this issue.

In this regard, today Apple has released the iOS 11.1.2 update which is specially targeted towards few of iPhone X’s issues counting this one.

To tackle the screen issue and to fix it, 51.4 MB size update is released by company. The update will also help to fixes an issue that caused distortion in videos and Live Photos taken by the iPhone X.

As now the update is available to download. So all you need is to go to the Software Updates section on your iPhone X.

Here’s the official changelog of the new update:

  • Addresses a problem that could cause distortion in Live Photos and videos captured with iPhone X.
  • Fixes an issue where the iPhone X screen becomes for the moment unresponsive to touch after a fast temperature drop.

According to changelog, the update is only iPhone X for users and has no effects on any other iPhone gadget. As It is just a bug fixing update for the new iPhone X.

Just to know you it is not the first time the iPhone X has faced some issues. About a week ago, a strange green line started coming into view on some iPhone X devices but luckily, Apple swapped those devices with the new ones without any complain or asking any question.

Users also reported a ‘Crackling’ or ‘Buzzing’ noise from the earpiece of iPhone X. upon enquiring and telling the issue to nearest Apple Store, the store guys responded them that it is a software problem and the fix will turn up soon in a software update.
