LG Planning To Revamp Its Smartphone Lineup?

LG has been trying quite hard to regain lost momentum, LG G5 onwards. LG G5 was a peculiar take at a modular smartphone which didn’t go down well with consumers and thereafter Samsung capitalized over this opportunity and now is far ahead of Samsung when it comes to smartphones. While LG, on the other hand, even though get back on track with the G6, but the lack of innovation that followed was just not the thing need for LG to get back into the business. 

Now, while Samsung is flying high with its S and Note series, Cant say the same about LG. 

LG has now, reportedly made a decision of giving up on the G series of its smartphones. Instead it will keep on producing V series smartphones to compete with the intention of competing against Samsung S series while it is planning on a completely new series to compete with the Note and IPhones. Lets just hope that they stop adding the incredible cringy and unnecessary THINQ with its smartphone names.

Moreover, a new LG V series phone for 2021 will come with a 10-inch+ screen. It will act as a tablet or a laptop with a keyboard accessory. It is unclear whether there it will support docking or fast charging, but he believes that this phone will be called the LG V70.

It was initially surprising that there was a lack of any rumors regarding LG competing with Samsung in the foldable smartphone market as well. But now, 2020 is said to be the year when LG gets in its own foldable device.

However, all these details are still rumors and only MWC will confirm if these sources are true or not.
