MOTOROLA ONE ACTION BRINGS GO-PRO PHOTOGRAPHY TO SMARTPHONE

The ONE belongs to the budget end of devices by Motorola and there I usually nothing to brag about these phones except the price, but this time Motorola has a few tricks up its sleeves which would make the new comer a unique phone to try out.

The Motorola One action, as the name refers to, would give a unique approach to the camera both hardware and software wise. In terms of the hardware, there is a super wide camera present but that’s not the interesting part. Motorola has physically rotated the sensor so that when your holding the phone vertically the camera records the video in horizontal and vice versa. It seems a strange move on Motorola’s part, but the results the camera produces are quite interesting. For the software, Motorola has introduced “Enhanced Video Stabilization” to reduce shakiness during recording.

The rest of the specs are where all the interest dies down with the usual run-of-the-mill specs that one would expect from a budget smartphone. It is a 6.3 inch FHD+ panel that has a hole-punch infront with a 12MP selfie camera. The rear cameras, are also conventional ones apart from the physically altered camera. There is a 5MP depth sensor and a 12MP main lens. Surprisingly, its powered by entry level Samsung Exynos 9609 because of battery reasons. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage would be sufficient for daily tasks and a little intensive gaming. A USB C port, a headphone jack and a 3500 MAH complete the smartphone.

The name would mean that it is an Android One with the updates that the One smartphones usually get, but in this case the One SOFTWARE would be restricted to international variants of the phone and not the ones sent to US and Canada, with no promise of future updates.
