Nokia 9 Pureview Android 10 Stable Update Rolls Out

HMD global has taken upon itself to commence the process of releasing Android 10 for its Nokia phones. Of the three devices which have been scheduled to get an update in Q4 of this year, the Nokia 8.1 came in at first place. And now by the looks of it, comes the turn of the Nokia 9 Pureview.

Indeed official confirmation comes courtesy of Nokia Mobile’s official Twitter account, which has announced that Android 10 is rolling out the Nokia 9 Pureview.

The update goes on to bring a wide range of new features, these including the likes of Smart Reply, new gesture navigation, dark mode, more control over both privacy as well as location data, and also family link setting that come under Digital Wellbeing.

And now, one would have to imagine that with the Nokia 9 Pureview out of the way, the Nokia 7.1 will be next in line to get the update in this quarter.

The Nokia 9 Pureview made its way into the market all the way back in February. The device features with flagship specs including the Snapdragon 845 processor, six gigs of RAM, 128 gigs of internal storage – however, there is no option for expansion of storage. The device features with a 5.99-inch P-OLED panel that comes with a resolution of 1440 x 2880.

Of course, amongst the main selling points of the device is the fact that it comes with a six camera setup on the rear – with five of the sensors being 12MP ones. Within five of these, two are RGB, while the remaining happen to be Monochrome sensors. The sixth camera is a TPF 3D one. On the front is present a 20MP selfie camera.

The device also features with an In-display fingerprint scanner, while it does lack a bit in the battery department with a unit of 3320mAh. The phone also goes on to offer 18W fast charging and 10W wireless charging.
