Prince Harry and Meghan removed from the royal family display

Everything comes at a price. Everything in your life. The question you have to ask yourself is, what price are you willing to pay?

Well Prince Harry and Meghan have certainly paid their due share and will probably continue doing so.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to take a step back from senior royal duties has prompted London’s Madame Tussauds to make some changes of their own.

Less than a day after the couple’s announcement was made, the famous waxwork museum has decided to remove the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from its royal family display, “to mirror their ‘progressive new role within the Royal institution.'”

“We’ve got to respect their wishes #Megxit,” the wax museum tweeted Thursday.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announcement on Wednesday that they intend to divide their time between North America and the UK to carve out a “progressive new role” and step back from their senior positions has certainly sent a wave of a shock for the royals.

Senior members of the royal family were disappointed by the move, a royal source said.

Even the choice of the word “disappointed” is civil and shows how the British do not lose their cool in such moments of turmoil. Had this been a desi royal family, Mehgan would have been branded as the witch that broke a blissful home and bewitched the innocent prince so rely on the British to make a big and deep impact by showing the world how such acts of defiance are treated.

Madame Tussauds, which contains more than 250 wax models of celebrities, said the two figures will go in a separate section, away from that which includes Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, and Prince William and his wife Kate.

“Alongside the rest of the world, we are reacting to the surprising news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be stepping back as senior Royals,” said general manager Steve Davies.

He added in a statement: “As two of our most popular and well-loved figures, they will of course remain an important feature at Madame Tussauds London as we watch to see what the next chapter holds for them?”
