Realme X may have different specs in India

Just last week, we saw the Realme X making its debut in the Chinese market, with the Indian market soon to follow. While the Indian market too will be witnessing the release of the Realme X, the company’s CEO has revealed that the Indian version of the phone may come with different specs.

Madhav Sheth, the CEO of the company revealed such information using Twitter. He clearly went on to state that the Realme X may not necessarily launch with the same specs as the one sold in China. And while speculation soon followed after, the CEO wasn’t in particular specific as to what the change might be, though he did reveal the price that the phone will have in India – $255.

Such a price tag is roughly equivalent to the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage version when you convert from the Chinese Renminbi to Indian Rupees. However, considering the fact that the specs may be different, it is probable that there would be a more powerful processor and since we don’t know the storage and RAM configuration, we cannot just go on to state that it is more expensive.

Realme has also confirmed recently that the Indian version of the phone will actually be the recipient of a third special variant – this being in addition to the Garlic and the Onion special variants that have already been announced.

The Realme X features with a 6.53 inch AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone neither has a notch, nor does it come with a punch hole, and hence, for the sake of the selfie camera, the device has a pop-up selfie camera integrated within. The phone features with the Snapdragon 710 processor, and up to 8 gigs of RAM and 128 gigs storage. The pop up selfie camera that the phone comes with has a 16MP sensor, while the rear of the device comes with a dual camera setup consisting of 48MP + 5MP sensors.
