Samsung changed release date for Note 9 to surprise its fans

Samsung is on the way to surprise us with its changed schedule for the release of Galaxy Note 9. Well this surprise will make the Samsung fans super happy as they will have to wait less than before.

Samsung’s next big-screen Note phone that had to be part of the company’s yearly gadget release, will now be arriving sooner than expected.

Samsung’s Note phones often come towards the end of the year while the company’s flagship ‘S’ phones are reserved for around February at MWC (Mobile World Congress).

But the Korea Herald has recently reported that the South Korean tech powerhouse is ahead of schedule on the development of the upcoming Galaxy Note 9.

The site has reported that the Note 9 will come two months ahead of schedule so it is possible we could see the device in August or even July 2018, instead of September or November of the same year.

Note 8 got launched in September last year and the company may be stepping up to compete this year with the 3 new iPhone X models that have been rumoured to be on the way from its big rival Apple.

The Korea Herald notes that “According to the display industry, Samsung Display began mass production of 6.38-inch organic light-emitting diode displays for the Galaxy Note 9 in April, about two months earlier than before,”.

The report also talks about the company’s consideration for the earlier-than-expected panel production, company is likely to roll out the upcoming flagship model as early as August. This August release will be one month earlier than the company did  for the Note 8 series in 2017.

There is no assurity of the new features to be debuted on the Galaxy Note 9, however the early rumours suggest a fingerprint scanner that is based underneath the screen.

 Galaxy Note 9 is expected to  come with an S Pen stylus & the needed heft in processing power and camera performance to make it one of the best-performing phones of the current year.
