Sony are rumored to be working on a foldable phone as well

So we are pretty sure that you all think that the first ever foldable phone was released by a company such as Huawei or Xiaomi, well it will surprise you to know that the Chinese company Royole were the first brandin cell phone technology to release a working foldable phone, the phonewas given the name of Royole Flex pai and while they were the first company to launch such a phone, cell phone giants such as Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi were the ones who stripped of the spotlight from the company after they launched there own versions of the design. With that in mind, it has been revealed that Sony are getting ready to jump on the bandwagon of foldable devices.

Furthermore, the news came from a leaker who made a post on Twitter, he goes by the name of Max J and the Twitter handle @Samsung_News and according to the tipster,  Sony is also working on its own foldable device. He also revealed that prototypes being designed and built by the company and says that the phone willbe equipped with an LG Display and a camera which will pack a 10x Zoom capability. The device will also pack a 3220mAh which considering the design may be not be enough, but they will definitely make alterations accordingly.

Moving on, the new devicewill be powered via Snapdragon 7250 SoC which is revealed to be a mid-range chipset. This could be just for the test model as the foldable phone is expected to house a Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform and the Snapdragon X50 5G modem when it will launch. Moreover,there is also an increasing possibility that the phone may well  support 5G connectivity. Furthermore, Sony’s foldable phone is said to have a retractable roll-out display just as the one users saw on the Galaxy Fold. So all in all the prospect is looking bright for Sony and it seems that the Japanese manufacturers are upping there game in this field, seeing as how they have failed to give any competition to the major OME’s out there.
