Stephen Hawking predicts that Earth might become a ‘ball of fire’ in 600 years

Stephen Hawking a famous physicist predicts that the world’s growing population will devour enough energy to make the earth a “ball of fire” within 600 years.

The scientist known for his revolutionary work in black holes and relativities has once again tickled earthlings saying that overfilling and greater than before energy utilization could create a trouble for earth.

A couple of days ago Stephen made the appearance via a video call in 2017 Tencent Summit in Beijing “To save itself, mankind must take a cue from Star Trek (Sci-Fi TV series) and boldly go where no one has gone before,” he said in the appearance.

Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Stephen are also working together on the plan Breakthrough Starshot with objective to launch a small spacecraft to travel around and discover the nearby star system to our solar system named as Alpha Centauri.

Stephen was thinking and analyzing this issue and had this point of view for a long time. As he earlier said in an interstellar space travel program.

“The idea behind this innovation is to have the nano-craft ride on the light beam. Such a system could reach Mars in less than an hour, or reach Pluto in days, pass Voyager in under a week and reach Alpha Centauri in just over 20 years.”

To reach at the Alpha Centauri star system it would take about 30,000 years to get there with today’s fastest spacecraft. Since it is 25 trillion miles (4.37 light years) away.

With the passage of time particularly in recent years, we have seen a disinter increase in Global Warming. The efforts done to create energy and electricity from green sources are not sufficient.

In order to prevent the dangerous situation other tech giants must move forward to take constructive initiatives while Google has already been mapping out air pollution level on Google Earth.
