Upcoming HTC Smartphone to pack snapdragon 435

HTC is facing some significant problems, in particular, with the financial department of things. And while the downfall of the company has been apparent over the course of the past few months, there are some reports which go on to claim that the company is working on a new device. In accordance to the latest rumors, the upcoming HTC smartphone will be powered by snapdragon 435.

The upcoming phone of HTC (in the most apparent of terms) seemingly made an appearance on a new Bluetooth SIG listing. The listing also went on to reveal the name of the device, as being HTC 2Q72XXX. Furthermore, another interesting thing to make note of is that the phone will have the support of Bluetooth 4.2, coming alongside Qualcomm’s snapdragon 435.

It’s good to see that even though the company is struggling financially, it still is trying its best to looks for new avenues for the purposes of growth. Another interesting thing to note is that the company has made the introduction of a blockchain-enabled smartphone Exodus.

As far as the recent financial report goes for HTC, TWD 6.8 billion ($220.6 million) in revenue, a statistic which goes on to show a 58 percentdown, as per compared from the numbers of last year’s Q2. The net loss (quarterly) is TWD 2.09 billion ($67.8 million). To perhaps somehow counter such poor financial figures, the chairman of HTC, Wang Xuehong recently went on to state that the company will be looking to focus more towards the AR/VR market.
