VIVO TEASES PHONE WITH ‘JUST’ 44WH CHARGING

Vivo had recently made everyone aware of its new brand IQOO and the potential; products that we would be getting from the sub-brand. On top of the list were a couple of things, first of which was 5G. Vivo announced that a 5G phone was near so everyone expected that the next IQOO phone would be the next 5G phone from Vivo. The problem with the lack of excitement towards 5G phones is that even though the roll out for 5G is in process, it hasn’t reached majority number of countries and therefore people can not experience it at this moment.

The second of the most anticipated features was the 120W charging option which could top up the phone within 10 to 15 minutes. This is a stupendous time even if we compare it to the market’s leading charging times. The only thing left was to have it in a phone to experience it, but the leaked banner of the upcoming IQOO phone shows off ‘just’ 44WH charging. The reason behind adding quotation marks around the word just is that we have been so spoiled by the latest tech innovations that 44WH which is massive on its own seems nothing, and majority of us were left disappointed as we could not be able to go hands on with the 120 WH charging. The leaked banner gives away other details though. It confirms the availability of 5G on this model, with tech specs including a Snapdragon 855, 8GB of RAM with 128GB of on board storage. All of this in 650$!

This would be another attempt at the category of flagship killers where smartphone makers, especially from China, introduce extremely good phones at a very aggressive price to lure people away from paying hefty price tags for the flagship phones.
