Xiaomi has been planning some great things with the upcoming phone, the Mi Mix Alpha along with the MI 9 PRO 5G. Although, MI 9 PRO 5G was unfortunate enough to get its specs leaked online which include a 48MP main camera, 2X telephoto camera and an ultra-wide. The other phone that is launching alongside is the Mi Mix Alpha which has been kept secret much better than the other one.
However, Xiaomi has been teasing a 108MP sensor of its own! Just when we were criticizing how Chinese OEMs were getting greedy in the numbers game of getting more and more pixels in their cameras and using pixel binning to get the shot, lack of proper software optimization features made the photos not worthy of the tag that they were given. Similar should be the scenario with the 108MP sensor with the photos leaked showing the details in a well-light place. That has been the case with 48, 64 and will be for the 108MP sensors as well. In perfect daylight, they will be pretty spectacular, otherwise they will be disappointing. Xiaomi should understand the need for making software optimizations for their cameras to make their performances better.

Other specs would probably be the Snapdragon 855, however, with PRO and ALPHA in their names it is quite possible that the processor of choice is the plus variant of the 855. RAM should be expected to vary from 6 to 12 GB, another overkill but the extent to which phones are being used these days, its always a welcome addition. The only problem could be caused by 64GB of internal storage, because nowadays it just isn’t enough. Lets see what Xiaomi has in store for us, both of the phones would be released tomorrow i.e. 24th Sept.
