ECP Launches Official App for General Elections 2018. In an attempt to guide voters on the polling process and keep them updated about elections, ECP has launched its official mobile application named ‘Click ECP’ for the General Elections 2018. It will keep you updated through press releases and other news.
According to Election Commission of Pakistan, this new app is free of cost and available on the Google Play Store. The objective behind launching is to help voters get in-depth details on the upcoming elections as “Click ECP” has a simple interface for users.
Click ECP app has the following sections:
About ECP: This section will provide you information about the Chief Election Commissioner, members, Secretary and the overview of ECP.
Voters Section: In this section, you can find information about your vote, such as “how to add or modify your vote”, it also provide some informative videos on how to cast your vote.

In order to check your vote details, go to Voters Section > Check Your Vote > Enter CNIC > Send
However, as per the application, Rs 2+tax will be charged for the check.
New Initiatives: The section will inform you about the new initiatives taken by the ECP such as GIS polling scheme, Electronic Voting Machine (EVM), Biometric Verification Machine (BVM) etc.
Election Section: This section is dedicated for all the information related the elections, from results to election rules, statistics, election symbols, political parties etc.
Latest Updates: in this section, you will get all the latest news and updates about the General Elections such as polling schemes, training material etc.
Media Section: in this section, you’ll get all the press releases, announcements, news, notifications, downloads, video and photo galleries for the general public.
Contact: this section has all the contact details of the ECP as well as the information and numbers regarding the field offices.
For now, the application has around 1000 installs with an overall rating of 3.9 out of 5. You can also get benefit from this app as it can be downloaded for Android devices here.
