The first Infinity-V display : Galaxy M series

At the Samsung developer conference which was held back in 2018, the Korean manufacturer showed off all the news displays that the smartphone world was set to indulge in, and these included the likes of the new Infinity-O display, with the hole-punch cutout for the front-facing camera, the Infinity-U display, and also the Infinity-V display. While we haven’t exactly seen how the Infinity-V display looks, based on a new website which is wholeheartedly dedicated for an upcoming Galaxy M phone, this could soon be subject to change.

The website goes on to tease a device – coming with very slim bezels, and a relatively small teardrop-shaped notch around its front-facing camera. The teaser isn’t at all a total surprise, since it was previously leaked by SamMobile, in a report that goes on to note the phone pictured with the Galaxy M20. As far as the suggestions go, there are reports that it will actually launch alongside a Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M30, while the names of the phones come as a result of the number of rear-facing cameras that they go on to feature : the Galaxy M10 has one, two on the M20, while the Galaxy M30 has three rear cameras.

The website also notes that the phone will indeed have a quite powerful processor, and will also have an ultra-wide lens for the sake of better photos. The phone has a huge 5000mAh battery, and it also has the feature of fast charging. According to reports, the Galaxy M20 will feature with a 6.3-inch LCD display, with a 2340 x 1080 resolution and a dual camera with one 13MP sensor, and the other being a 5MP sensor. There will also be 32 or 64 gigs storage options.

As far as the pricing of the phone goes, it isn’t at all expected to be very expensive – reportedly coming in with a $200 price tag. In an interview conducted with Reuters, a Samsung executive placed in India stated that the phone will be priced between $140 and $280. While the phone will be launched on the 28th of January in India, there has been confirmations by many that the phone will be available only for online purchasing.
