Gmail web users will get a major redesign soon

Gmail web users will get a major redesign soon. In order to add some cool features and a redesign, recently Google sent an email to G Suite customers to inform them that the company has been working on a latest version of Gmail for the web. Apart from the fresh design, there will be some of the new features on the list.

In this redesign, we are looking forward to be getting direct access of Google Calendar from the Gmail interface. Well, Outlook customers are going to love this.

Moreover, if you want keep clean your inbox and can’t reply to someone or specific email yet then after getting the new feature you’ll be capable to snooze emails so that they re-emerge in your inbox hours or days later.

On the other hand, the feature of using smart replies will be available on the web too. If you use Gmail on your Android phone or iPhone, you may already use this feature. After the redesign these algorithmically-generated replies will also be accessible on Gmail.com.

Finally the best feature would be the offline access of your emails. Google is working on an innovative way to store your emails on your computer for offline access.

As the company is little by little phasing out Chrome Apps, now Google will be using standard web technologies to allow your browser store your data offline.

Google has yet to share screenshots of the new design. Gmail’s web interface hasn’t changed in years — you can probably expect a new interface that follows Google’s Material design language.

However, Google also informs that the update might smash some popular browser add-ons for Gmail, likeClearbit, Streak, etc.

As G Suite email states, G Suite customers and regular Gmail users will need to select it into a latest Early Adopter Program to access the new Gmail. Well, hopefully it’ll be available in the coming weeks.
