Huawei which is well known player in smartphone industry and the third biggest smartphone manufacturer in the world is setting up to launch the P20, P20 Plus, and the P20 Lite at an event in Paris on March 27th.

We were expecting launch of the 3 smartphones, code-named “Emily,” “Charlotte,” and “Anne” respectively from the company during the upcoming Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona.

However, those plans were slipped; the reason could be the fear of being overshadowed by Samsung’s Galaxy S9.

After the P20 series announcement, we are enduring to see more and more information about the devices leak from different sources.

Today we are going to reveal some new information about the P20Plus as it will contain a strapping 4,000 mAh battery and the handset will come with “Always on Display feature”.

It is confirmed as evidence for these findings is based on firmware files got by @FunkyHuawei, the man behind the “FunkyHuawei.club service”, which basically allows users to update, unbrick, or rebrand Huawei and Honor phones for a charge.

In addition, we also found that the usual P20’s battery capacity is registered as 3,320 mAh which is a quite considerable difference between the two models.

We reported earlier about the biggest design change of the upcoming P20 flagship smartphones that they will have hot inclusion of an iPhone X-style notch.

Interestingly this notch will be where Huawei gear their new Point Cloud Depth Camera to try to win with Apple’s Animoji and Face ID features.

According to the latest leaks, P20 firmware is running on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1, although we do not know what latest features EMUI 8.1 will carry.  However, both the P20 and the P20 Plus will mark Huawei’s latest HiSilicon Kirin 970SoC, the similar one SoC in the Huawei Mate 10 series and the Honor View 10.
