As recently, lots of users are reporting that Huawei phones aren’t working with Android Auto. On the other hand, currently there’s no fix in sight offer by company in this regard.

Despite the fact that the majority of phones work with Android Auto without a snag, Huawei phones look as if to be giving the majority of people issues, and as there’s a fix in the works there’s no word on when we’ll put into action.

So, honestly if you’re a fan of the features that Android Auto offers to your cart then you need to consider twice before purchasing Huawei phones.  It may be in your best interest.

On the other side, Google has confirmed that the problem is with Huawei phones rather than Android Auto, stating on their forums that “Huawei has a fix for the problem on many of their devices, and is working with different carriers to test and roll out those fixes.”

According to Pinunikaweb, Huawei said similarly in an email, stating

“Huawei is currently working on providing a fix to this issue. Unfortunately, we don’t have official information regarding when the issue will be solved. In the meantime, please make sure that your device is up to date (by checking in Settings > Updater or in the HiCare app. Also, the release of Android 7.0 Nougat has already started. It is released in batches, so check the HiCare App from time to time and make sure the updates are set to automatic (Settings > Updater).”

Well, if Huawei is really still looking and working on a way out for this compatibility problem, they’re surely taking their time.

We have collected some user complaints from around the web that illustrate the issue.

“I’ve been using Android Auto in my 2016 Holden Spark for the last 12 months with my Samsung Galaxy S7and I’ve come to rely on it and I’m self employed so I need to take phone calls often and I use the navigation for getting around to clients homes. I just upgraded my phone to a Huawei mate 10 today and went to use it this evening in the car and when I plugged it in the monitor in the car went completely black. Android Auto opened on my phone display but I couldn’t hear anything. I used it with the cord which came with my Huawei mate 10, not another random cord. Please tell me that this is going to be fixed soon?” a user states his problem.

It’s really incredible that this issue has not been fixed yet. I have issues too with my Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Android Auto. It’s supposed to be a “flagship” device and it doesn’t work with Android Auto. Wth?” Another poor soul is wondering that he have flagship device but still facing the same issue.

Well, what we can do despite being hopeful that the company stops down for the count their time and releases a fix to permit Huawei phones to line with Android Auto, as it’s definitely causing a lot of issues.
