China have opened there first Visa Center in Pakistan

So earlier this week our friendly northern neighbouring country of China who have in the past given Pakistan a helping hand in all corners has now opened their first visa application service center in Lahore to facilitate applicants wishing to visit the country.

Yao Jing, who is the current Chinese Ambassador to Islamabad has officially inaugurated the center. A ceremony was held in this regard and this ceremony included the likes of the Chinese Lahore Consul General Long Dingbin, Deputy Consul General Peng Zhengwu and officials from the Punjab government, who were all present at this moment. In an interview with the Geo News Network, Zhengwu called the newly adopted visa center milestone step. “Earlier residents of Lahore had to travel to Islamabad to apply for a visa to China,” he said, “This new place will provide enormous relief to businessmen and visitors. Lahore is an important city and the new hub of economic activity in Punjab.”

Moving on the new visa center has been placed in one of the busiest cities in Pakistan,Lahore and this visa center in Lahore will handle all ordinary visa applications and cases which will take you from Pakistan to China and also the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao. It should at this point be noted that the final approval which grants you the Visa will still be granted by the Chinese embassy in Islamabad, however the Lahore office will only collect the needful documents and forward the requests and of course give you the details if your Visa is approved so all in all it does do 80% of the job which should honestly be refreshing for all those wanting to go to China.

The Chinese “embassy will not operate the visa center in Lahore directly. It has outsourced it to a private company,” Zhengwu added.Approximately 4,000 applications are processed by China’s embassy in Islamabad per month, so one can say it with certainty that Pakistanis are no doubt interesting in visiting that country.
