PIA designate special flight for the US scheduled for June 14th

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) charter flight initiated by the government for bringing back nationals who have been left stranded in other countries shall depart from the O’Hare International Airport, Chicago for Islamabad on June 14. The flight will follow the required SOP’s to meet with the required standards set by the government to ensure public safety against the recent pandemic. It should be noted,that this will mark the sixth special flight which will operate from the United States to bring back Pakistanis stranded abroad.In addition,the stranded Pakistani nationals, who have registered with the Embassy of Pakistan Washington DC and its Consulates in the US, shall be the ones who will be allowed to board the flight. With that being said, those who have not registered should not lose hope as the government encourages those stranded to quickly register themselves for the flight.

The said special flight shall depart from Islamabad directly for O’Hare International Airport Chicago on 13th of this month carrying stranded US Citizens/permanent residents, those who wish to go back to the states may also get register or get tickets to go back to the United States and after the flight reaches Chicago, it will board passengers who wish to return to Pakistan. The flights will be direct and all of this is set to happen in between two days. Both countries airports shall be following strict regulations in regards to the pandemic to ensure absolute safety of passengers.
