A student from Lahore has developed a machine which can counter Smog

So one of the major issues being faced by Lahore in the country of Pakistan is that of Smog, the air in one of the major cities of Pakistan, in particular Lahore has been so hazardous in the past few days and the effects of this air are seen to be very hazardous. Recent findings showed that Lahore’s AQI index which is the Air Quality Index was above 400 and in some areas even exceeded the 600 mark and the number for which air becomes hazardous is 200-250. This basically shows the hazardous air in Lahore,another report suggested that breathing in Lahore’s air was equivalent to smoking at least 22 cigarettes everyday so one can begin to understand the dangers.

In that regard, Smog has been a major issue for those living in Punjab, especially Lahore, as the citizens face the constant problem of being forced to inhale unhealthy air, resulting in sore eyes and ill throats. On top of things the ministry of climate change have failed to counter the smog, however,when old school fails to step up, Youth is always present to stand up to the mark and well that is what a student from Lahore has done. In recent times, a Lahore-based student has found a way to clean hazardous air pollution.

The Student’s name is Hassan and he has created a machine which uses an air purifier machine to prevent his home from the menace of smog. Moreover,the machine uses a filter to clean the smoke-laden air and makes the environment healthy. Having made it as an assignment, Hassan believes that it is extremely cost-effective and protects you from smog.The air purifier consumes only 30-40 watts of electricity and comes with a number of health benefits on top of just preventing you from the hazardous effects of Smog. Moreover,just like polluted water, hazardous air can also cause flu, fever, tiredness, headache, and itchiness in the eyes, says Hassan in an interview with a private news channel. His father attributed his success to his hard work, saying that it was the need of the hour for Pakistanis that someone built a machine to counter smog.
