Android 10 officially launched for Pixel users

So the major US company Google is officially releasing the final and complete version of Android 10 to Pixel users and the spread out will begin today as people who possess the Pixel device will get an option to update there OS to a new version, the Android 10. Moreover, other users should also remain hopeful as the new version of Android is set to arrive on other phones faster than before. Moreover, Google has promised that the company is “working with a number of partners to launch or upgrade devices to Android 10 this year.”Moreover, with the new version of the Android come new highlight features in Android 10 and these are not bound to just the new gesture system, the new update will also bring stricter permissions and privacy controls, a new “Focus Mode” for disabling distracting apps, simpler notification controls, better integrated family controls, probably the best feature in the whole plan, an overall device dark mode theme.

One of the most important updates will be invisible to most users: “Project Mainline” will allow Google to issue some very critical security patches via the  Play Store instead of waiting for manufacturers and carriers to distribute them. What is more interesting is the fact that phones which are upgraded from Android 9 Pie to Android 10 will not support it which is a bummer. In addition to that it is also worth noting that not all Android 10’s features are fully available and the famous Focus Mode is launching only in beta today. Moreover, another top feature known as the “Live Caption” will allow users to get real-time captioning for any audio or video on their phone. But unfortunately, this feature will not be applicable for users until next year, for Pixel users however, the feature is available, no doubt people, in terms of updates the phone one should have is the Pixel.

Furthermore Google has stated that all of the first-party apps will be ready to support the new Dark Theme, but not all of them have made the deadline for Android’s release. For example Gmail, the famous mailing application is still working for possible compatibility with the Dark Theme users will not be able to apply the Dark theme until later this month. More than anything, probably the highly anticipated feature on the new OS is the new gesture navigation system, which works much like that of the iPhone’s, and in the beta phase of Android 10, it seemed to get tweaked every few weeks. Now according to users that feature is fully stable and will not incur any such technical difficulties, which means the entire left and right sides of the screen are dedicated to going back. The traditional three-button system will still be an option, and seeing as how many users are used to it, it is good that Google stuck to there roots as well.

What is more interesting is the fact that this new OS from Google will be marked as the first that does not have a codename, like Android 9.0 is aka Android Pie.
