Apple shuts down all I-stores in China temporarily

In the latest turn of events we have found out that the leading US manufacturers in the smartphone market Apple have reportedly shut down all of their stores in China until February 9 following the fears created by the outbreak of the Corona virus in China. The US firm have said that the move comes out of an “abundance of caution and based on the latest advice from leading health experts”. Hence the decision has been taken to take some precautions in order to counter the problem the virus has created. 

In accordance with an official statement provided to Bloomberg’s, Mark Gurman, Apple have taken the decision to shut down all its corporate offices, stores, and contact centers in China until 9th of February.  It should be noted that throughout the world many corporations have started exploring options as to how they should respond to the coronavirus outbreak. Airlines across the globe have stopped flights to China, Honda and Nissan have evacuated their workers, Starbucks has closed down more than 2000 all across the country, business market in China is facing a lot of issues due to the issue they have on their hands.

It is also worth noting that the US have also restricted employee travels to China and they have in turn issued new guidelines for the cleanliness of the stores and employee health. They have issued a new revenue forecast statement which is more uncertain than usual due to the virus situation. The company’s online store, however will continue to operate and its shall remain open even with all of their retail services going down. Nonetheless, the virus has caused many problems and we urge you to be cautious of your surroundings as well.
