Firefox is going to introduce new feature to warn you about hacked websites

Firefox Mozilla is going to introduce a new feature in search engine Firefox that will notify its users before they open a hacked website.

The upcoming feature will first check the websites being assessed against the data as held with website ‘Have I been pawned?’  After that it will automatically warn its users if the website has been marked as hacked on that database.

Once functional, it will be a great addition to search engine as it will inform earlier in case of any illegality or hacked website.

At the moment the update is in its primary stages but is accessible on GitHub as a depository.

However, the professional users who use the Developers’ Edition of Firefox can employ this update before it released to the general public, all they need to do is compile and insert the code to their browsers individually.

Recently the update is confirmed by Troy Hunt, Chief Executive Officer at ‘Have I been pwned?’

 As his tweet shows

“As many people have now worked out, yes, we’re doing some awesome things with @mozilla and @haveibeenpwned  https://t.co/UFW0CNLGtk”

Even though this isn’t as big upgrading and improvement but it surely is an important one. ‘Have I been pwned?’ is an extensively popular website which trace and keeps a record of hacked website and the breached data.
