Foldable Phones Set To Change The Game; Here Are Five Ways On How This Can Be Made Possible.

With so many technological advances in the smartphone industry over the years, there is set to be yet another innovation introduced: Foldable Phones. A lot of talk has been surrounding such phones and these phones now seem to be closer to being introduced than ever. ZTE has already launched a phone of this category: ZTE Axon M. These new types of phones look ready to have a major impact on the market with amazing flexible screens. Now these devices may come in various forms but the first few versions are rumored to have “outward folding displays” wrapped around the front and the back of the phone. Now here is how technology like this could change the Industry.

1)           It gives you new ways to interact with one another

As we all know for the past few years manufacturers have just been trying to improve the specifications of their phones, with more RAM, better cameras  and faster processors, bearing in mind slight alterations every now and then, no major changes have taken place in the past few years especially in terms of design. Better displays are being made, which are increasing their phones resolution, with the highest resolution being 4K. Furthermore dual cameras have also been introduced which opened new opportunities for the consumer.

Now then the new foldable screens could essentially turn a single screen in to two displays, Dual monitor setup. Folding phones could bring amazing multi-tasking options to the consumer. As of right now multitasking menu is extremely popular because it provides you with a faster option to multitask, But now with exception of having two screens, you could simply run two different apps in two different screens simultaneously, It would allow a full-screen split-screen affect. Furthermore new apps and games could be designed keeping in mind the dual-screen functionality to provide users with something new and innovative. Finally manufacturers always try to get more smartphone screens by making larger displays fitted in to smaller frames, In one move this all could change with the introduction of the foldable phones.

2)           Cameras will become much better than before

The cameras in the phone are one of the most vital features. Inventors are improving cameras on a daily-basis to give the customer a better experience when it comes to smartphone photography. So far this has worked out in the best way for consumers all around the world but sometimes the rear camera is much better than the front camera and this ostensibly leads to one camera being worse than the other as the manufacturers try to optimize their resources accordingly.

But with the innovation of such phones, the rear camera could simply become the front camera due to the folding capability so companies can now focus on just producing one amazing camera. Now if your camera was as good as the Pixel 2’s main c snapper, would you complain?

3)           No more fear of having cracked screens, no gorilla screen needed!

So folding screens may not completely secure your phone when it comes to the part where your phones screen cracks but they are set to make this less likely! As these screens are to be flexible in nature the chances of them cracking sufficiently decrease. Current smartphones have made amazingly durable screens the Corning Gorilla Glass has made these more resilient but they still have the tendency to break. Although the materials which will be used in making these flexible phones is still classified there are chances that a plastic OLED screen could be used and we know these will be more impact resistant but alas only time will tell.

4)           More choices for the Consumers!

So consumers find it pretty hard to decide which phone they are to pursue , Do I want 3GB RAM or a 4GB RAM? These and many more are the questions consumers often ask! But now we will soon see a better question in the offering, Do I want a phone with a foldable screen or not?

These phones are set to give consumers a brand new flavor and this prospect will definitely attract a lot of customers. These folding phones seem set to arrive with Samsung set to launch there take on the foldable phone alongside the S10 and S10 Plus.

Furthermore this technology will also benefit the Manufacturers. Folding phones may very well give manufacturers an upper hand against their competition and in turn the smaller companies may also benefit by sticking to their previous designs while giving the Foldablescompany’s room to keep on developing such phones.

5)           Tablets could very well be on their way to the coffin.

Tablets were supposed to be the next big thing and for a start they were, but they are also on the verge of collapse now. The reason is that tablets, smartphones and laptops have merged together and the best example would be the chrome books which deliver an android like experience can turn in to a tablet to and the overall laptop is touch screen attached on a keyboard other than this there arealso large screen cell phones which can also carry out the tablet function, Now foldable phones are set to pull the trigger on the tablets and make them disappear for good.

The new design could essentially turn it in to a small tablet with the same operating system, these devices would be a more suitable replacement.  The downside of the process may well be the price. Finally when both touchscreen laptops and foldable screen phones can carry out the functionality of tablets, what is the point of just buying a simple tablet!

These phones are set to be the next big innovation in the industry and can be a viable option for  the consumers of the 21st century. Only time will tell us how successful these designs will be but for now these seem to be a suitable exception in this innovative world.
