Google Assistant packed this TV by Philips is made for kitchens. Philips has crammed Google Assistant into its new Android TV for kitchens, the 7703 so that it could help you through the way to get your own to look like the things were sliced by a professional, though this voice assistant cannot help you chop vegetables.

Android TV for kitchens, the 7703 by Philips has 24-inch screen and it comes on a large plinth that is also a 16-watt Bluetooth speaker to fill your kitchen with tunes, really a fantastic thing for kitchens.

The unit also has Chromecast integration that lets the users push content from a mobile device to the display with very little fuss.

What is the headline feature of this series by Philips? Wait, the same thing is going to be mentioned here. The headline feature with these TVs is that the presence of Assistant will be letting you bark instructions at the display. Yes, you can bark instructions at the display even when you are engaged otherwise.

How is that possible? This possibility is due to the always-on microphone that has been built into the TV. So, it is not wrong to say that you will not have to even awkwardly cram your elbow on a remote to prompt the interface to start working.

The plus factor with this TV is that when you are finished preparing the meal, you can also ask the TV in the same easy way to fire up Netflix and let you watch Chef’s Table to fuel that very inferiority complex.

Hey, that is not all with this innovation, another plus factor with it is that there are two HDMI inputs to add in a games console or to set-top box. Which one would you need? Let yourself think it when set to get this TV.

Though this is nicer one, but not the pioneer device that we have seen that has been tried to blend smarts and screens for the kitchen. There is a range of other attempts like this. You can take this attempt by Philips like that made by Sony and Archos to build tablets that are capable of being used by the cooking fraternity or kitchens.

We are quite hopeful that Philips’ effort will have better luck as compared to those done by Sony and others, although we would not find out pricing and availability for this kitchen TV series by Philips, until the second half of the year.
