Huawei has managed to ship more than 100 million wearables so far

Being established in 2014, Huawei technology laid its primary focus on manufacturing wearable devices. Not only does the entity have its very own Amazfit line of smartwatches, but it has also indulged in production of popular Mi band series from Xiaomi. Along with the Amazfit line of smartwatches feature other wearable devices which have gained immense popularity in the past couple of years – as amazing designs, and great features have been focused on – all at quite affordable prices.

The Xiaomi-backed company was also most recently listed on the New York Stock Exchange where it managed to accumulate $110 million. One would then have to imagine that with the capital on rise, the innovation levels too are only likely to see a boom. The outflow of watches from Huawei itself too has been a great source for the ever expanding capital inflow. Just a couple of days ago, the Amazfit GTS, Amazfit Sports Watch 3 and a concept Amazfit X were all subject to being unveiled at an event which was held in China. This represented the third product launch from the company over the course of the past three months. Earlier, we had seen the Amazfit Verge 2 and later on, we saw the Amazfit GTS.

While the launch event was in motion, Huawei announced some of its financials in relation to the second quarter of the year 2019 while giving an insight over its journey ever since its formation.

Indeed it was revealed by the company that so far in the year, it managed to sell an astonishing 100 million smart wearable gadget so far globally. Such a figure makes Huawei the very top-selling brand when taking into consideration the department of wearables. Furthermore, the company also gave an indication over its revenue for Q2 2019 – hinting that it was more than a Billion yuan. Numbers like these showcase a year-on-year increase of 36.6%. Additionally, the company also managed to ship more than 8.3 million units in this period – an increased of 53.7% year-on-year.

Such reports quite clearly show that Huawei is making exceptional progress in the department – and this comes as a result of the company’s motivation and innovativeness along with other important factors of course.
