Meet Finney, world’s first blockchain smartphone with flagship specs. World’s first of its kind blockchain smartphone have been officially revealed by the company Sirin Lab. It’s named as “Finney”.  According to the company this blockchain smartphone features some flagship-level specs.

Not to mention, this blockchain phone will be certainly a ‘cold storage wallet’ for your crypto. Interestingly, the fact that it’s enabled with blockchain technology will make it protective against hacking. It also offers a safer background for keeping track of financial transactions.

Features of Finney

Let’s talk about its specs. Well, observing its cool features we can say it will be a true flagship device in a way. The smartphone will pack a Snapdragon 845 paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

At the side of cameras, the phone will feature a back camera with 12-megapixel, f/1.8 lens with laser autofocus, while at front you’ll locate an 8-megapixel, f/2.2 snapper with an 85-degree angle.

Finney will feature a 6-inch, 18:9 display with a pixel density of 402PPI. The phone comes with a 3,280mAh battery.

Although, the phone will run on Sirin OS platform, but some latest specs show a phone running “Google-certified” Android 8.1 as well.

However, the differentiating and main selling point for the Sirin OS platform is the preinstalled wallet for cryptocurrency transactions.

It is important to mention here, the company behind this phone raised $110 million in ICO previously and this is not the first phone by the company as in the past Sirin has touted Solarin handset that set its positioning as a $16,000, ultra-secure Android phone.

But, the upcoming Finney will present blockchain-enabled services for safe exchange access, encrypted communications and much more.

Price and pre-order details

Well, if you’re a crypto lover and want to purchase this phone then it’ll cost you $999. However, it’s unclear whether users can pay cash, as you’re asked to pre-order the device with so-called SRN tokens. And you can pre-order here on order to get 10% discount.
