Mosques in KPK Will Soon Work on Solar Power

Mosques in KPK Will Soon Work on Solar Power. Recently the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa plans to take a good initiative and decided to put all the mosques in the province on solar power. The provincial government has taken this step in a bid to move away from traditional sources of power towards renewable energy that is safe and sound for the environment.

Chief Minister Pervez Khattak issued a statement on Tuesday, and in that statement he has directed to authorities for early arrangements about the  award of contracts for putting mosques on solar power all over in KPK.

Engineer Mohammad Naeem who is working as Secretary Energy, briefed the CM in a meeting about the design and procedure of providing mosques with solar power. He informed CM that the process of awarding contracts will be finished by the end of January whereas the project will be done by May 2018.

We all are aware with the fact that over a few past years Pakistan still faces the trouble of load shedding which even gets worse in the summer. We have also been flooded with environmental concern like Smog which makes it an urgent matter to move push back the employ of fossil fuel and explore the sources of renewable energy in the country.

CM Khattak has ordered strict monitoring of the project and its implementation so people would have an alternative arrangement for electricity in the mosques in case the load shedding continued in the summer of this year.
