Pakistani Students can now get Study Permits for Canada in just 20 Days

So the Western country, Canada have now introduced a new study-permit processing system which they have dubbed as the Student Direct Stream, with the launch of the new system students of five countries, which also include our nation of Pakistan, can now have their permits processed and issued in just 20 days, which should come as great news for the students of Pakistan who wish to study abroad, especially in Canada. Furthermore, the Minister of Immigration Canada, Ahmed Hussen has officially announced that they will be expanding their vast system to Pakistani students. He made this announcement in a post on Twitter. He stated That:

“Canada is a global leader in attracting the world’s best and brightest and international students are contributing to our economy, enhancing our people to people ties, and growing our academic capital, which is why we are expanding our Student Direct Stream program to Pakistan,”

Furthermore, on the immigration website to Canada, the Canadian government officially announced and initiated the new system, the website states: “Depending on where you live, you may be able to get your study permit faster through the Student Direct Stream”.The website further added that “We try to process most Student Direct Stream applications within 20 calendar days,”

Students in Pakistan will be happy to know that the latest to make it on the list is Pakistan along with the previous members who were China, Vietnam, the Philippines, and our neighborhood country India.Once a student has “an acceptance letter from a post-secondary designated learning institution”, they can apply for the Student Direct Stream.

The requirements for the Student Direct Stream include giving “your biometrics as soon as possible”, meeting “meet all the eligibility requirements”, and passing a language test. Following which the student can in turn move to Canada for as long as he or she has a tenure in a Canadian university. Study there, craft there futures and return back and possibly apply for a work permit. The good days are coming Ladies and Gentlemen, at least for the students.
