Pakistani Tekken Players destroy one of the world’s Tekken players in debut tournament

So Pakistani find a way to make their country proud in pretty much all challenges they find themselves in. Pakistani e-sports professionals are gradually making a name for themselves and for Pakistan while they are at it. After we saw the prime example of Arslan who established himself as the best Tekken player in the world, in an internationally recognised E-sports tournament, two new stars have emerged from the ranks: Atif Butt from Gujranwala and Awais Honey from Lahore.

The two have truly made their country proud,but all was not easy as one would think, the two had to face plenty of issues in getting a visa and then were also held at the airport.However, that did not stop the, the two amazing gamers beat top Tekken players from the world with ease as they made their way to the final of the Tokyo Tekken Masters. The event took place at NAMCO Future Research Institute in Tokyo. The all-Pakistan final highlights the talent possessed by these Tekken 7 players. It should also be noted that this was their debut international event and the fact that the two were able to qualify for the final shows that the two Pakistanis have immense talent amongst their ranks. Atif Butt got his hands on the winning prize of $5,500 whereas the runners-up, Awais Honey walked away with $2,700.

It should also be noted that both the two gaming professionals, Honey and Butt were denied visa for the Philippines for what would have been their first international tour. The two have earned themselves a big names in the local e-gaming community, having beaten the EVO 2019 champion, Arslan Ash, in local tournaments, which shows that Pakistan has some truly amazing talent when it comes to E-sports. The Pakistani trio of Tekken players have already rocked the e-sports arena as prior to their respective debut tournaments, no one was aware of their talent. Hailing from Punjab, Pakistani champs used to play offline, honing their skills by so much that they were unaware of how far ahead they were compared to their international rivals.
