PTA Synchronizes Mobile Apps In Pakistan

The Pakistan telecom authority (PTA) early today stated that they want to take steps forward to control the mobile applications such as, Whatsapp, Viber, Skype etc.

One of the reports in the news has stated that the PTA has appointed up some committee to work upon these frameworks!  It is said by PTA that all these struggles has the results of the efforts of Telecom Policy 2015 that are being put forward

“We would want it, definitely, but how will they do it?”, commented a CEO of a mobile company when we asked about his thoughts on the regulation.

The PTA has worked on the issues to make sure that these social applications are inline keeping in mind our social interests too!

It may also grant the government the access to these social applications.

These contracts may also result up in revenues to the local license companies and OTT players (WhatsApp, Skype, Viberetc), with the services too!

But since Pakistan have a history of doing “World’s First”, let’s see what they come up with.
