Robots would arrange better jobs for us. It has been a long time, we are going through a controversial issue of robots’ attitude towards human jobs. A class of analysts say that human jobs are at risk due to the man made humanoid robots that could work more efficiently than the humans as enterpreneurs would prefer to be served by them instead of humans.
But on the other hand, only a few people, but with depth of thought tales the issue as a positive one. They opin that robots would create jobs for human, though the nature if jobs would be changed in that time.
A research firm Gartner had predicted recently that artificial intelligence may actually create more jobs than it is anticipated to eliminate.
The recent report of the company say, by the year 2020, artificial intelligence will generate 2.3 million jobs, exceeding the 1.8 mn that it will wipe out. In the following five years to the year 2025, net new jobs created relating AI will reach 2 million.

The number of jobs affected by robots would vary from industry to industry. The public sector, healthcare & education are expected to gain the most jobs, while manufacturing and transportation may get hardly hit as per Gartner’s research director, Manjunath Bhat.
On Tuesday, Bhat said,
“Robots are not here to take away our jobs, they’re here to give us a promotion – I think that’s the way we should start looking at AI,”
Elon Musk and others disagree
Gartner’s sanguine projections are a total contrast with the warnings on the dangers of AI being sounded by top technology industry voices such as Tesla CEO Elon Musk . Elon Musk said the global race to lead the development of AI could lead to World War III , and he cautioned that humans must merge with machines to avert becoming irrelevant as Artificial Intelligence becomes widespread.
An other tech luminary, Kai-Fu Lee, the founder of venture capital firm Sinovation Ventures, calls robots to be likely to replace 50 % of all jobs in the next decade.
Gartner acknowledges in its report that AI would eliminate millions of middle- and low-level positions, but the report emphasised that more new jobs will be created, including highly-skilled, management positions and entry-level and low-skilled jobs.
The report suggests IT leaders not to only focus on the projected net increase of jobs. Instead, it suggests for the greatest value, they should focus on augmenting people with Artificial Intelligence. Enrich the jobs of people, reimagine old tasks & create some new industries.
