RS 2 MILLION FOR INNOVATING POLICE CHECKPOSTS- FAWAD CHAUDHARY

Ever gotten into a line of a police checkpost and a long time passes by and you are still in line, its like a traffic signal but you donot have an eta as to when you will be able to get done with it. How about using that time and coming up with an idea to get ride of police checkposts altogether, and earn rs2 Million on the way? Seems a good idea, right? Well, starting thinking because Science and Technology Minister is offering the money to the winner who gives an applicable solution to the police checkposts.

On his Twitter account he posted:

Hi there! How can we get rid of Police Nakas (search points) come up with technology solutions, we ll award 2 Million to the winning idea…. you have three weeks get-set-go

The solution is to be a technological one for sure as it always is these days and the deadline is three weeks. All that we have to think about is how to get rid of those queues and make up a system that can identify car drivers but on the same side the problem with how to manage the people that are not recognized or have to have their cars checked still persists.

The best option seems to be the implementation of chip readers that can read the chips installed in NIC cards and that can go through the system database to identify the driver. For checking, the best option becomes small roadside posts of policeman who deem it necessary for a car to be checked can then do so. However, such a system would be costly but greatly save time with quick identification of drivers without the question and answer session that happens with the driver. T

For the checking of cars, x-ray machines could be used like those in airplanes, but then again the main hurdle seems to be the cost. Here is our suggestion to the cause and if the Ministry is really serious about getting an upgrade, this is a good option.S
