Samsung to possibly take on board the company that provides OPPO the 5X Zoom Tech

Now we are pretty sure that you have probably not heard the name of the company which is known as the Corephotonics before, but they are the guys behind OPPO new 5X zoom technology, this technology has supposedly caused a stir in the market and has been perceived by many as an amazing feat. The company is based in the country of Israel and has big-name investors which include companies that provide Samsung their tech as well, such as the following, MediaTek, SanDisk, and CK Telecom. New reports say Samsung wants to acquire the company possibly to also possess the specification of having a 5X zoom.

Corephotonics is known to work with all of the major smartphone companies, so it is no surprise that they worked with the company OPPO on their “lossless” zoom technology. The company also designs cameras which are then built and used by their partner companies.

Samsung is reportedly planning to pay somewherein between $150 – $160 million to acquire the services of the company which is also well known for developing a triple camera technology that has up to 25x zoom something which Samsungwould definitely be eyeing on. Furthermore, If the deal does in fact go through, we may see well expect Samsung phones with much better zoom technology launch in the market in the near future. Corephotonics is also said to be planning to start developing  drones, vehicles, and security cameras segments in the future as the company wishes to broaden their horizons and to one day have significant control over the technological market. Well, only time will tell if any deal can be agreed by both parties. But if it is agreed then we’re sure both companies will each face tremendous benefits.
