Marriott International hit Lahore with Sheraton Grand Hotel

The grand city Lahore famous for delicious dishes and jolly people has been signed to acquire another opportunity to add to its impression worldwide. As Marriott International Inc. has announced an agreement with Imperium Hospitality.

This five star plus the hotel has been signed with the leading hotel company in the world namely Starwood.

The agreement follows the opening of Sheraton Grand Hotel in Lahore. The hotel will be the company’s first hotel in Pakistan’s historic city Lahore.

The hotel is scheduled to be opened in 2021 carrying the Sheraton Grand designation. The designation represents the premier tier of Sheraton hotels recognized for their enticing destinations.

Sheraton hotels are famous for distinguished designs, excellent service and guest experiences.

Samir Baidas, Chief Development Officer, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International, says,

“Sheraton continues to maintain its first mover advantage through strategic pipeline development and growth plans and we are now excited to introduce the brand in Lahore.”

The agreement is signed to fulfill the city’s demand for international hospitality brands so that people may experience innovative hosting and out class designed environment.

Sheraton aims at meeting the needs of business and leisure travelers and local residents in Lahore.

Lahore is the capital of Pakistani province of Punjab and home to the Allama Iqbal International Airport. Its strategic location in the heart of the country is a key trade route for the country.

CEO of Imperium Hospitality, Qasim Jafri views the Sheraton Grand Lahore surpassing international standards, not matching them. Because he witnesses Imperium Hospitality re-engineering premium hospitality and luxury living landscape of Pakistan.

And Marriott International trusts their quest for excellence that will be combined with high skills in planning, construction, and operations to deliver unparalleled architectural design and stunning hospitality experience.

With 168 well-appointed guest rooms, four food and beverage outlets,  and a specialty restaurant will be featured in Sheraton Grand Lahore.

A fitness center with swimming pool, a signature spa, and ultra-modern meeting facilities will be offered in addition to 500 sqm ballroom.

Eco.id Architects, designer of the hotel have worked on several Marriott International properties. W Maldives, Sheraton Kathmandu Hotel and the Four Points by Sheraton Bintan are some of Eco.id Architects’ projects.

Currently Marriott International is operating Islamabad Marriott Hotel and Karachi Marriott Hotel in Pakistan with 500 rooms.
