Once more racial criticism attacks a cricketer

In the start of the year during the series of Pakistan and south Africa. A controversy was made between Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed and south African star allrounder Andile Phelukwayo, Eventually, the Pakistani captain was found guilty as he went against the spirits of the game and also broke the rules by racially commenting, which was clearly heard on the stump mic. When Andile played an outstanding innings and led his side to victory. Sarfraz was banned for the rest of the one-day series and 2 twenty twenty matches. Once more racial criticism attacks a cricketer.

A bit similar incident occurred during the match happening in Bay Oval between England and New Zealand. The tear away fast bowler of England Jofra archer claimed that he had faced racial insults on the final day of the test match. Coming in at number 10 jofra archer who’s not to renowned for his batting fought hard with his opening bowler partner Sam Curran and frustrated New Zealand with a 50 plus partnership but they couldn’t help to prevent their side from an innings defeat.

Archer later tweeted that when he was moving back to the dressing room someone from the crowd passed racial comments on him which was really heartbreaking while he was fighting hard for his team.

Both the ECB and the NZC confirmed that they will launch an investigation in order to identify the responsible person behind this kind of a cheap behavior. Through the CCTV footages the security is holding an investigation in order to recognize the person. New Zealand cricket board released a statement that they will meet Archer for an apology.  NZC has zero tolerance towards abusive or offensive language at any of its venues  and will refer any developments in case to the police.
